I would love to win so that I could spread the word about breast cancer and help support the cause
Add me to the drawing! This would be the perfect gift for my mom since she keeps looking at the Vado online.
Came by to be added to the contest. I’ll be pink throughout the month though. No real story just showing my support.
Please add me to the drawing!
Add me to the drawing. My wife was diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer 9/15/09.
Story: http://www.facebook.com/notes.php?ref=sb#/notes.php?id=1256133553
I had a breast cancer. and Jesus cured me because I looked at his eyes.
I will use my Creative Vado Pink for my beauty.
He said
Excitement will be with you, Joyfulness will be with you
Happiness will be with you, Surprises will be with you
Sadness? Sing my song “Call me” Gloomy? Say my name
Worried? Look at my eyes. Serious? Sing My song “Call me”
Are you bored? Say my name . Are you sick? Look at my eyes
Wow, I am impressed that Creative would have such a creative contest to bring awareness to this fight. Saw this on Facebook and had to comment…as a sponsor of the Susan G Komen Race For The Cure, I would donate the camera to this local chapter that covers Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois…I would then feature their videos of survivor and treatment stories on our website and TV station. I work as a manager for a TV station with a big voice in the community. These videos would provide support and inspiration to hundreds or thousands of women who watch our station and visit our website. We would also post the videos on our Facebook page. There are many ideas they would have as an organization as well, but this would give a much needed voice for these women who would like to reach out to other women. Thanks for having this contest Creative…Go Vado!
Hi there. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1994. I remember it like it was yesterday It was the summer I graduated high school and I was leaving the movie the lion king with my best friend Marie when I called home and my Mom broke the devastating news to me. She had a double masectomy and is thankfully cancer free after 15 years. Ever year my Mom and run Run the susan komen race for the cure in new york city. I will continue to donate money to beat breast cancer.
Pleaseadd me to the drawing
Please add me to the drawing.
I have no experience with the Pink Agenda, and fortunately, nobody I that I know has had breast cancer. Please add me to the drawing. Thank you.
Maybe this way I will be able to get Creative products in Canada! (Amazon.com will not ship thlem to Canada!)
If we won one of these, using it would be a great way to remind everyone to be aware of the need to find a cure! Please add me to the drawing!
If I won I would use my Vado to take videos of my children with their great grandmother. She is battling Colon cancer and I would like them to remember her when they are older.
Breast cancer hasn’t touched me or my family personally, I guess in that aspect, I’m lucky. Ovarian and cervical cancer both run in my family though. I believe we need to raise awareness about all forms of cancer and continue to spread the word. I just found out recently the large number of men that are diagnosed with breast cancer per year, I was startled.
A dear friend of mine passed away last year just a few months after being diagnosed with breast cancer. We miss her so much. On the other hand, another friend passed her 7 year anniversary of being cancer free after being treated for breast cancer. The survival rate has increased so dramatically in my lifetime. It’s encouraging that so many people support cancer research and treatment programs
I would use my pink Vado to document all the special days I share with my family, friends and other loved ones. I don’t just mean the holidays but those every day events, having a friend cook you dinner, a family member surprising you to cheer you up. It’s documenting those days to look back at when you’re down, sad or tough times have struck you. Because it’s always about the memories…
I’d let a Vado help me to document all the memories that maybe my heart can not…
My aunt went through chemotherapy last summer for breast cancer. She’s recovered, but it was a hard time for her and the family.
I love to own things that promote a good cause– and breast cancer is one of the most important causes I can think of. Both my Grandmothers got breast cancer and I want to see a cure for my children!!!!
Having lost my mother-in-law to breast cancer (I was never able to meet her), I have made it a priority in my life to raise money for breast cancer. I am walking in my 2nd Breast Cancer 3-Day and 4th Race for the Cure. I would love to carry a pink VADO to document our walks.
The think pink agenda is a great thing,my experience with breast cancer is that out of four girls my mom is the only one who has not had breast cancer and as i was growing up i never really got checked even though everyone told me to because of how many have had it in my family, well once i became a mother myself i get checked all the time and try to express the concern to others to get checked knock on wood i have never been diagnosed but the scare is still there and i think every women should get checked just as a part of health awareness!!!
First! Add me to the drawing please! Can’t wait to hear some of the stories =]

I have had a few friends in my life be directly affected with Breast Cancer and it amazes me how each one of them has been such a warrior in their own fight against this disease. Their courage, strength and determination to beat the disease has been an inspiration to me that I apply to many areas of my own life that I have struggles with. I would use this Pink Vado to make the world a better place by using it as a constant conversation piece. The color Pink carries so much significance and to me it not only represents Breast Cancer Awareness, but those very attributes that I aspire to incorporate into my life, courage, strength and determination to overcome those obstacles in my life that cross my path. I will use this Pink Vado to spread the word to those around me and to those who I love and are important to me in my life to encourage them to do the same. I have been wanting a Vado for the longest time to capture live moments of my 3 young children so I can share them with family members who live out of state. Thank you so much for the chance to enter.
Joanna, thank you for sharing your support and story with us. I wish you the best.

My mother found a lump in her breast two days AFTER getting negative results from her mammogram & manual breast exam. She had to be somewhat pushy to get the doctor to see her but once he felt the lump she’d found, he ordered an ultrasound. The ultrasound confirmed the tumor then a biopsy confirmed it was cancer. My mother had a partial mastectomy in less than a week, followed by a 2nd surgery to remove 19 lymph nodes when cancer was found in one of them. She just finished 7 weeks of radiation. At this point, she’s considered to be cancer-free. She has an amazing outlook on life and has been strong throughout this whole ordeal. Cancer is a very very scary thing.
Debra, this is an amazing story. I can only imagine how difficult this must have been for you and your family. Your mother sounds like an amazing and strong woman. I send my best wishes to her. Thank you for sharing this story.
-Tawnee
Thank you! I will do that. I just hope to get the message out to everyone that they need to do regular breast exams. And don’t rely 100% on mammograms or doctors to find a problem. In my mother’s case, the doctor was horrified that he missed it and took extra care with her throughout the surgeries & follow up. If she’d followed his original advice (after he’d missed it) and let it go until next year, who knows how far the cancer could have spread.
I try to buy pink products whenever possible to promote awareness. Thanks for supporting such a great cause!
What a great way to promote the fight against breast cancer! You must have a lot of pink products. =)
Think pink! And thanks for having this great giveaway to get the word out.

I actually attended two Pink Agenda events as a supporter. In July I attended the Fun In The Sun event on Long Island, NY and also the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure annual 5K Run/Walk in NYC this past September. I volunteered by passing out water and helped clean up and cheered on 3 of my best friends who participated in the race.

My Mother was diagnosed in 1994 with breast cancer. I was 19 years old at the time and terrified. My Mom raised my sister and I as a single parent and was terrified of losing her to breast cancer. She had a double masectomy and is cancer free after all these years. My Moms mother was diagnosed 5 years ago at 80 years old and shortly after passed away.We are very active in the fight for breast cancer always giving money to the susan komen foundation. I am so proud to be a part of this giveaway. Thank you from my family for giving your procedes to charity. Thank you
Hi Monica. Thank you so much for your support in the fight against breast cancer. Best wishes to you and your family. =)
My grandmother and great grandmother both had Breast cancer. My Mom has breast cancer was recently diagnosed with aggressive stage 3 breast cancer. She recently finished all but her herceptin treatment and is feeling better. We have been told their is likely a genetic cause though the gene is unknown in our case. Needless to say we participate in local events raising awareness and funds. I think that providing screening for uninsured women is critically important.
Hi Danielle. I wish the best of luck to your mother. Thank you so much for sharing your stories and idea with us. =)

I support the The Pink Agenda because cancer (all forms) has become a huge problem throughout the world and the US in particular. I donate a lot to the scientific community via folding@home, a vado would be awesome to help spread awareness of The Pink Agenda and folding@home. The Pink Agenda is a great way to spread awareness and rally for support.
Hi Julie. Thank you so much for your support and efforts to fight against breast cancer. Your help is much appreciated! =)

Please add me to the drawing. My grandmother had breast cancer and it’s so important to be aware! Thanks!
Hi! Best wishes to your grandmother. =)
I have a vado hd. Love it. Why do people associate flip with pocket cams? The vado is better. Any way, my mother had breast cancer and subsiquent mastectomy. A few months later she was diagnosed with brain cancer. She had surgery 3 months ago and finally went home last week. She is on the road to recovery. I use my vado to record the kids and send her dvd’s…it makes her smile. I think everyone should get a vado and make…smiles. Cheers.
Hi Aj. What a great way to use your Vado hd! =) You’re mother is very lucky to have you. Best of luck to you and your mother. =)
My Mom is a breast cancer survivor. Sadly, the drug she was taking post-surgery to ensure it didn’t come back also caused endometrial cancer. She’s had a very difficult two years and has been through the wringer, emotionally and physically. I never feel as though I can do enough for her or as though I can spend enough time with her. It’s been a roller coaster.
Our blog is pink again this year in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I have not, however, shared her story on the blog this year because it’s just been too difficult for all of us.
If we won the camera, we’d give it to my mom so that she could capture moments with her grandsons. They’re all too precious right now.
Hi. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. I hope that your mother gets well very soon and I’m sure she appreciates everything you are doing for her. Best wishes to you and your family. =)
A friend of mine has been battling breast cancer for quite some time. It’s taught me the importance of early detection.
I very recently(2 days back) learned a new collegue had breast cancer(age 30!!!)..She survived, but that mother of 2 yr old twin boys worries every day. I would like to win this for her.
my aunt is a breast cancer survivor and she’s still as strong as ever.
someday i hope there would be a cure for this! =]
We’re praying someone can find a cure for this… it’s devastating. God bless you.
CURE NOW! Waiting kills.
Why do I support the Pink Agenda? Because too many women still don’t have access to diagnosis and treatment until it’s too late, because we *CAN* and will defeat this disease. Because not one more wife, daughter, mother, sister, lover, friend should lose this fight. Too many will, but we can make a difference.
Hi Kristen. Thank you for your encouraging thoughts!

Both my Grandmothers had breast cancer and survived!!! I need to be careful and diligent.
Creative,
Both my grandmother and I are cancer survivors. Seeing first hand how cancer can touch the lives of family and friends enables me to see life in a different way. It gives you a certain appreciation for the *little* things and reminded that life itself is beautiful!
Please add me to the drawing, I LOVE Pink! Someday (and hopefully soon) we’ll have a cure!
Love, Luck and Continued Success,
Amy

Thanks for doing this! My mother-in-law is a breast cancer survivor. Her birthday is in two weeks and I’m sure she wouldn’t mind a pink Vado.

Hi Joe! Tell her Creative says Happy Birthday! =)
Luckily breast cancer has not touched me or any one in my life. My mother in law does however have Uterine Cancer. She has her final chemo in two weeks. we are having a party for her to celebrate!
My mom is a breast cancer survivor and we hope she continues to do well and that the cancer doesn’t return. This has made me more aware of the my own health and has led me into living a healthier lifestyle.

Hi Cynthia! So happy to hear that your mom is a survivor of breast cancer. We wish that she continues do well also! =)
Okay, Hope I’m doing this right…I am following on twitter & a fan on facebook & I am commenting here. I think this is a wonderful giveaway. My sister lost her best friend to breast cancer this summer..she was only 35 & left behind 3 children…please everyone get a mammogram! I think the more people hear about cancer & how important early detection is then they will get tested…my mom survived colon cancer cause it was found early…another friend died of colon cancer at 49 because she didnt have a colonoscopy til it was too late…..stay on top of it…let’s conquer cancer! Thanks for this great giveaway…I would love to win!
Hi Patti! Yes, you are doing everything right! Thank you for sharing your story with us and the best of luck to you and your family. =)
I thought I had already left ‘my story’ on your page here, but I just got a message on facebook with this link! So, if this is a duplicate, I’m sorry! I may be able to go a little more in depth with it if you’d like…
First, I’d really like to thank Creative for being part of such a beautiful charity! Someday we will have a cure! I LOVE the the ACS is “The Official Sponsor of Birthdays”! And because of that, I’ve gotten 14 more added on to my own ‘birthday list’! Yes, I’ve been a cancer survivor now for 14 years and in that time have had cancer 4 times (not just breast cancer). It hasn’t been easy, but it’s made me who I am today. Cancer doesn’t discriminate and it’s VERY unfair. My grandmother was also a breast cancer survivor and one of the strongest women I’ve ever known! When you hear those horrible words “You have Cancer”. You freeze, it’s hard to believe and then you start to wonder. Why? I know that I’ve asked ‘why me?’ several times, without answer. After seeing how hard it hit not just me, but my family and friends as well, was just devastating. But it made me stronger and it made me ‘thankful’ for each and every day I have here with them!
I’d LOVE to win a Vado Pocket Video Camera to record ALL the important memories that life still has in store for me! Thank you for the chance Creative & Vado! Keep up the wonderful work!!
Love, Luck and Continued Success,
Amy
It’s great that you found a creative way to raise awareness and think pink this month. It’s not only a battle for those already diagnosed with cancer, but also those that are fearful of the disease b/c of dense breasts.
I’d love to be entered! Breast Cancer is in my family, as my Aunt had been diagnosed I know it can be a very trying diagnosis but she is a survivor!
Cancer is in my family. Its sad and hard. please pick me.

Grandmother, mother, sister – breast cancer is a common thread in our lives. I am thankful for the pictures I have, but I wish the Vado was around years back, just think of the things I could have captured to save, precious moments to share with my children and one day their children.
With the Vado, capturing life ie process of living, sharing the good and the bad, showcasing the stories of our lives, our battles, our tears, our triumphs, our pain. All in memory of those that have gone before us, or those that battle on – - to stand up and proclaim to the world, you’ve not beaten us yet – give us what you’ve got! To triumphantly document, film and share the life, love and laughter – because in the end that is all that matters – it is in fact everything.
gooooo pink!
I lost my best friend to breast cancer 4 months ago. She left behind a daughter and devoted husband. In her honor, I promised her that I will devote my life to the cause. I am working with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center to learn more about breast cancer and how I can best help.
I would absolutely love the Vado to capture video related to my effort to help find a cure. My goal is to present the video to her daughter when she is old enough to understand. I have videos of her mother that begins after she learned of her diagnosis through her final days. Hopefully, the next phase of videos will be inspirational enough to encourage her to get involved in the ‘Pink Agenda’!
thank you for bringing awareness to Breast cancer!
I have two friends who’ve had breast cancer. One is a survivor, the other unfortunately is not. Thank you for all you’re doing to help find a cure.
What a great way to give back and support a worthy cause. Thanks for the opportunity!
[...] Raul Figueroa for being our first Think Pink– Vado for the Cure contest winner! Although participants do not have to write a story Raul shared one with [...]
Am a follower and would love love love to win one of your cameras!
I totally support the PINK AGENDA. my grandmother passed from breast cancer and it hit numerous young friends of mine, who passed at early ages. I actually had my own run in 2 yrs ago, which had a miraculous ending. A solid mass was found in one breast and after much testing as it starting growing we scheduled surgery for a few weeks later. it was deep within the chest wall and the surgery scheduled was to be a bit intensive due to its location. the day of surgery a miracle happened.. aftre 4 hours of examination by several doctors and nurses they could no longer find the tumor! Needless to say I will never forget that day!

Over the last four years I hVe watched two people in my life that were like second Moms to me. I know guys are suppose to be hard and hide there feelings. I just wish I would have had a video cam I could carry everywhere when my friends were fighting for there lives. I don’t care if I won a pink camera. It mat get people to ask me why as a guy I have a pink phone? It would give me a chance to tell the stoory of two of the most wonerful women to live other than my own Mom. I could stress how many wonderful people that loose their lives everyday to cancer. I just wish I could have recorded thier fight before they finally lost, but that I could see tnem and hear them speak anytime. I don’t k ow if I missed the camera giveaway or not. I’m just glad I got to tell my story but my friends story too. To any you fighting, don’t give up. I’d say go buy one of the cameras so that your loved will be able to see you laugh and smile on video and not just in their memories. Sincerely, Xyane (Zane) Alexander.
