If you are trying to decide whether or not a Vado Pocket Cam is in your future–sometimes the only thing that can really help you out is a bit of video investigation. One of the questions I have been asked about lately, is “how does the Vado perform at night?” It’s understandable that this would sway your decision on which cam to go for. Or, perhaps you are one of those who haven’t ventured off to try it at night because you didn’t think you’d see a positive result.
I have used it at a few concerts (indoors, but dark) and it worked wonderfully. Not only was the sound quality impeccable, but the visuals were sharp and crisp. I heard that there is a video of a Vado user filming some bats at night that is pretty impressive, I will try to hunt that one down for you all to see.
These two videos are great examples of what you can do with the Vado at night. The first is a one minute video I created from footage I got driving (well, technically riding shot-gun) over the Bay Bridge into San Francisco. I made this video especially to show as an example whenever people asked about using vado for night-shots.
Our friend “AlmostZero” made a great holiday video in his historic downtown Kingsville, Texas. The town is fully decorated, making all the shots look especially cool.
As always, if you have questions about the Vado HD pocket cam or suggestions for videos/topics, be sure to speak up. I am happy to answer/oblige.
